This was my first opportunity to taste Filipino cuisine and I was blown away by the lunch buffet choices!! Everything was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the Menudo (not made from tripe BTW), the chicken skewer and the Banana egg roll (not sure what it is called) for desert.
Located in a small strip mall right off the 405 S in Carson. Can't wait to return and to also try the other nearby places in the same mall.
    Service was excellent too!!

This is your typical turo turo (point point literally translated) Filipino spot.  For a 2-item combo with rice, pricing is less than $10 for a generous serving, and water & ice are available in a dispenser.  The place is pretty big with an enclosed area on the south side for private parties.  I wasn't too impressed by the food especially considering the meat was placed in separate bowls and then microwaved before being plated and given to you on a tray.  The rice was fresh though.  So I found this odd for a weekday lunch.  They have a huge variety though.  I ordered paksiw (pork in a sweet sauce) and dinuguan (pork blood stew) while my coworker tried the monggo (mung bean) and adobong pusit (squid).  The paksiw was the favorite because we both liked the sauce.  We also ordered turon, which is on the skinnier side compared to what I'm used to eating.  Overall, this place is ok for a cheap option with variety perhaps as an intro for those not familiar with Filipino food.  Given the choice, I may prefer to go to Goldilock's.

They microwave your food just how you like it right in front of you. The steam table isn't even hot probably to have money on electricity. Worst $10.13 breakfast ever.

Cold food! The rice and the dishes were all cold. I haven't eaten here I a while and now remember why I stop coming here. Very disappointing.

Been coming here for years now..and not one thing has changed. Food is still good! The service is just right and the choices are still endless. I think this place will always be a go-to for me and my dad...simply because it's like 3 seconds away from the house, and because most of their food is cooked just right. Their bbq is always freshly made - they have their grill right in front of you while you wait. I usually check to make sure they have sinigang and bbq. If I'm not feeling the two, I just go with whatever they have that looks good.

Mind you, this is Carson..Filipino food is endless. In this plaza alone, there's about two other Filipino restaurants. Lol! So I'm sure they try their best to give you what the others don't have.

One good thing about this place is how big the place is. Plenty of tables to choose from. And the parking is easy. The people here are very sweet and always smiling. Except for one lady...she could give away a little more smiles...lol! Bathrooms are clean.

Will always come here...Love this place for a quick filipino food fix!

    Happy eating!
